Katy is...well...sick as a dog!  I'm not sure what her deal is today...but starting this morning she was acting like she didn't feel top notch...and by tonight she was still at it.  She's throwing up, which I would love to say is super unusual but it's not, but the sounds the are coming out of her tummy are horrendous!  I think it may be that she sees my suitcase out...which makes her nervous that she's going to be left...and is eating plants outside...silly pup!!!

 I love my sisters!  Sorry for the glare...my sister gave this to me for my birthday and it's been sitting on my coffee table (still looking for a permanent home) and I look at all day while I knit.  I love this picture of us!

Saturday I went and got a massage...these pictures were on my drive home.  I live in such a beautiful area!  After nails I got my nails and toes done...and hung out with my friend Katie...here's a cute pic of Katie and Katy.

I spent all weekend knitting...well while knitting I watched a lot of movies...and then when I couldn't find a movie that I want to watch I started watching Army Wives.  It's available on Netflix instant viewing...which means I can watch in through my Wii.  I had NEVER watched it before...now I literally don't care to watch my current shows because I just want to watch Army Wives!

I've been working out like crazy...so much that my knee started swelling again...ggrrrr....oh...and don't mind the clothes on the bed.  My spare room holds my 'hoodies', workout clothes, slack, holiday shirts, and bathing suits...so laundry days mean one pile on the bed...

I love Rick Springfield.  I used to steal my sisters tapes.  I have a 'VHS' of his 'videos'...an actual bought one!  I've seen him live multiple times.  And now...thanks to a parent from my school I have his book..."Late, Late at Night, a Memoir".

Saturday was an awesome day.  I woke up and took Brook to Lakeside to pick up his Mustang and then I roller bladed 8 miles along the ocean while Brook rode his bike with me.  I was supposed to go to a beach BBQ but unfortunately ended up falling asleep...but it was a much needed nap!  I then hit the gym late night.

Sunday was the Family Wine Makers event.  This event is so fun!  I have quite  few pictures so I'll explain as I go...oh...and plus a few of Hurley :-)

At WW the other day I was a total sucker and bought their pedometer.  I know better...they charge WAY more than anywhere else...but...their pedometer automatically tracks how many 'Points Plus' (PP) I get to add to my activity points.  So...I went with it!  Oh...and that number is all day walking...plus walking on the treadmill for 20 minutes...jeesh!  I've read that for weight loss you should have a minimum of 10,000 steps a day...

With starting up WW again...or 'getting back on track with WW' I'm trying to be better about my workouts.  This is now my spare room....

Stability ball, and multiple bands hanging from the door leading to the spare bedroom bathroom.  I need more bands still and 'harder' ones. 

Yoga mat, foam roller, push up/pull up bar, weights....I still need a Bosu...I've been wanting one FOREVER!!!

67---Point Plus

So I joined WW about 9 months ago...and originally lost about 10-12 lbs.  I had about another 10ish that I wanted to lose to get to my goal of 125 or a little lower...I've been a bad WW member pretty much since summer.  I've only weighed in a couple of times.  Today my friend and I went back to the meetings and decided that we need to stay for the meetings and get back into the swing of things.  I'm up 3.8 lbs...gggrrrr!!!!  About a month or two ago their system changed and it's been hard for me to remember the new point system...it now looks at fat, fiber, carbs and protein.  A lot of foods are worth more points but you also get more points per day/week...and an added plus is that all fruits are 0 points (no matter how much you eat!) and most veggies are 0 too!  I like this change...but..change is hard

!!  So I'm back on a mission and WILL get to my goal...before summer!  You readers out there....hold me to this!!!  I need to be bikini ready soon!!!

About two months ago a new frozen yogurt place opened up down the street from me.  I've wanted to try it and finally did on Friday...uhm...could easily be my new addiction!  I'm normally your typical chocolate fro-yo girl..maybe a little strawberry mixed in...but this is one of those places where you do it all yourself and when at those places I tend to try a few more flavors just to see how they are.  Hello...I found my new love...nonfat apple pie fro-yo...with fat free granola on it...literally tastes like apple cobbler!  I was in heaven!!!

Friday night I went to Target to buy a new stability ball...and I ended up also buying this...which got all assembled by Saturday...a new bedding set...

Sunday was Eli's 1st birthday party.  Eli is my friend Judi's little boy...he's adorable!  I can't believe he's already 1 year old!  Crazy!  He had a super cute 'Rocker' birthday party...and man oh man...he loved his cake!  I have hilarious video of him...most kids face dive and put their hands all in it...Eli did that...plus grabbed the entire thing and lifted it up to attempt to shove it in his tiny mouth!  After the birthday party I met my friend Brook and we went to see a movie (I am Number 4) and to sushi...oh my goodness the sushi was great!  We totally splurged and got 4 rolls...one being called '1st degree burn'...or something crazy...it was HOT...made with habeneros...but oh so yummy!

Nothing exciting, but this is one of my favorite things in my house.  This driftwood 'tree' was my great grandma's...I then printed out pictures of my family, punched tiny holes in the tops and put cute ribbon through them.  I used 'roach clips' (sorry I don't know the real name...that's what my mom calls them..haha...they are little clamps)...and glued little copper letters on the clips to spell 'DREAM' and hung them.  I love stopping to look at the cute pictures.  (don't mind the ugly white circle thing...before I moved in someone put a hole there with the front door doorknob...I've tried to do other replacements but b/c of the placement of everything it really is just what works best...ugly...but functionable!

My sister has been working on getting her real estate and broker's license...and guess what...she talked me into getting mine too!  I'm not doing the broker piece yet, but just started the classes for Real Estate Sales.

My newest favorite lotion.  I suck at remembering to put on lotion...except sometimes in summer but even then I'm not good at remembering.  I hate rubbing in lotion when it turns 'white' and having to just keep making it soak in...drives be absolutely batty!  I love this creamy oil ....feels great and works great!!  I'm ready to throw away all the half bottles of everything else around the house!
